As the Chief Operating Officer of Gateway, formerly known as HASA, I am thrilled to share our organization’s significant transformation with you. This change is more than a rebranding; it’s promise to be nimble and responsive to the needs of the communities we serve.
Rebranding to Gateway marks a new chapter in our journey, a chapter filled with opportunities for change, growth, and new beginnings. Today, Gateway serves 4,000 children and adults annually with comprehensive communications services, including Audiology, Speech and Occupational Therapy, Interpreting Services, Sign Language Classes, and School for children with autism, developmental disabilities, and communication disorders. Gateway fosters an environment where language diversity is accepted, and everyone is treated with integrity, compassion, and equity. As the organization steps into this new chapter as Gateway, it carries forward a legacy of impact and the belief in the power of communication to transform lives.
Running a non-profit organization is a collective effort. It involves countless individuals and teams working tirelessly, for multiple years, behind the scenes. From our dedicated staff to our generous donors and supportive partners, every single person plays a crucial role in our success. It’s a testament to the power of collaboration and community that we have come this far, and together, we will continue to make a difference.
The decision to change our name to Gateway was not made lightly. It involved extensive consultations, discussions, and feedback from various stakeholders, including our clients, staff, board members, and the broader community. We wanted a name that resonates with our mission and vision, and Gateway encapsulates our aspiration to be a conduit for positive change.
Our new website is now live and it is designed to be more accessible, user-friendly, and informative. It reflects our renewed focus on innovation and our commitment to leveraging technology to better serve our community. We invite you to explore the new site, where you will find information about our programs and services. We invite you to get in touch to see how we can meet your needs.
Looking ahead, we see endless possibilities for growth and impact. We are excited to expand our programs, enhance our services, and reach even more individuals who can benefit from our work. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey. Your support, passion, and belief in our mission have been instrumental in getting us to where we are today. As we move forward as Gateway, I am confident that we will continue to create meaningful change and touch many more lives.
Thank you for being part of this exciting new chapter.
